Tiny Virginia Makopo, the woman at the center of Oprah Winfrey’s school scandal, has been released on bail for an amount that rapper T.I. would probably give up one of his kids for, a mere $450.00 according to the Associated Press. Makopo was arrested last Thursday and says she is innocent of the charges against her. She faces 13 charges of indecent assault, assault and criminal injury against at least six students at the South African school. Oprah spoke out about the alleged abuse via satellite in Chicago saying, “I have wanted to speak since my first visit, I didn’t want to jeopardize the investigation.” Winfrey also added that she was devastated and shaken to her core when she first heard the news.
