Blade star Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in jail for his failure to file tax returns. The Actor sat stoned faced as his punishment was read, not even getting letters from Snipes’ famous friends such as Denzel Washington and Woody Harrelson swayed U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges from giving Snipes the maximum.
Wesley Snipes read a statement saying,
“I’m very sorry for my mistakes and errors. I apologize to my family, the court and the community. I’ve asked the court to show me mercy and the opportunity to make things right.”
Accompanying Snipes in court was his wife.
