Samuel Jackson’s cop thriller Lakeview Terrace topped the weekend box office with $15.6 million. Brad Pitt and George Clooney’s Burn After Reading dropped to no 2 with $11.3 million.
Rounding out the top five was the Kate Hudson comedy My Best Friend’s Girl, which took in a disappointing $8.3 million and took the No. 3 spot, Igor with $8 million and the Al Pacino-Robert DeNiro cop thriller Righteous Kill with $7.7million.
