Austin Powers star Verne Troyer was hospitalized today for flu-like symptoms. Troyer was on the set of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, the same movie Heath Ledger was working on at the time of his death.
A source said that Verne had been working really hard on the film and they just wanted to hydrate him. Troyer’s rep denied that he was being treated for a drug related problem and in a statement saying,
“Verne is fine and doing well and is back to work.”
