Whoopi Goldberg is the only Oscar winner to host the Academy Awards, so it came as a surprise to her and her The View co-host’s that she was left off the show’s montage, but Producers have apologized and said it was just a giant mistake and no harm was intended.
“No harm was intended, and I feel very, very badly that she was left out,” Gil Cates said Tuesday. “I’m going to call her and tell her that.”
