Syesha Mercado was the last woman standing in the American Idol contest but her run ended Wednesday when she was voted off the FOX show. Even though she has been in the bottom more than any of the other contestants, Syesha said she never packed her bag because she just didn’t want to go home yet.
The beautiful singer said she hopes to be like her idols Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys.
“I can see myself putting a Christina type album, like the one she recently did and an Alicia Keys album like the Diary of Alicia Keys. I like R&B and I like the old school/new school thing.”
Syesha says she wishes both David Cook and David Archuleta the best of luck.
