Rapper Snoop Dogg may have had his share of run-ins with the law but that doesn’t mean he is not a strict dad when it comes to his 8-year-old daughter, Cori.
Appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the rapper asked his daughter to tell Ellen the age she would be before he allowed her to have a boyfriend, Cori answered 77. Snoop, who coaches his son’s little league football team, says the key to winning is to set goals and not let the kids of the hook in pursuit of them.
“I’m hard. I cuss ‘em out,” he said. “But my philosophy is, I pick on them, and then I pick them up. That’s what I do, to let them know that I expect more out of them, because they’re better than that.”
