Selena Gomez has her picks for Oscar night.
“I love Revolutionary Road,” she told Usmagazine.com last week at the GBK Golden Globes Gifting Suite in Beverly Hills. “That is the movie I want to take all the awards. I can’t even get over it.
Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio just kill it,” Gomez added.
Would Gomez be up for more challenging roles, like Winslet?
“Yes, absolutely,” Gomez told Us. “I love being challenged.”
The actress added: “I love the Disney channel, and I always want to keep that relationship because they gave me my start, but I’d love to someday make a transition and do roles that are really challenging for me. I’d like to do comedy, romance, anything.”
For now, though, she will focus on filming her show, Witches of Waverly Place, and has plans to start her own tour.
“Hopefully I’ll finish up in April and debut my album in July,” she said. “I’m really excited that people will see a whole other side of me.”
Just as Winslet gets to work with her famous friend, DiCaprio, Gomez hopes that she’ll get to tour with her best pal, Camp Rock’s Demi Lovato .
“I’m so happy to be with her,” she said. “We’re going to have sleepovers on the bus, and we’ll never actually get any sleep!”
