Perez Hilton Assaulted by Will.I.am

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton took to his Twitter page early today to ask for help after he says he was assaulted by Will.I.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards.
Beginning just after 3 a.m., Hilton started tweeting about the alleged attack:

• PerezHilton: I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.

• PerezHilton: I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.

• PerezHilton: Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel.

Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, is in Toronto where he presented at Sunday night’s MuchMusic Awards.

According to his Twitter page, Hilton used a Sidekick — a mobile phone — to send his tweets to his followers.

Hilton then thanked his fans for their concern and asked them to stop calling the Toronto Police.

Hours later, Will.I.am created a Twitter account of his own to respond to Hilton’s accusations.

“i just made a twitter account because it isnt cool for someone to blame you and blast you with lies…” the Black Eyed Peas front man said on Twitter.

Will.I.am then linked to a response video where he denied ever hitting the blogger. (Warning: Video contains graphic language.)

“I was the one that came to him with respect, and he was the one who called me a f—– outside the club,” Will.I.am said in the video.

The singer/rapper also blasted Hilton for using Twitter to seek help.

“Sounds like somebody wants mad attention and is not really concerned about his health,” Will.I.am said.

“Shame on you, shame on your behavior, and that’s just messed up.”
