Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has thrown her support fully behind Barack Obama. Winfrey has never publicly backed any presidential candidate before but said that she believes in Obama.
Appearing on Larry King, Winfrey said,
“I think that what he stands for, what he has proven that he can stand for, what he has shown was worth me going out on a limb for, and I haven’t done it in the past because I haven’t felt that in anybody, I didn’t know anybody well enough to be able to say, I believe in this person.”
Back in September Oprah held a gala fundraiser in California that help raise $3 million for Obama’s campaign. Winfrey is not the only celebrity backing the Senator also behind him is Ben Affleck, Jessica Biel, Taye Diggs and Scarlett Johansson.
