Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick could get out of prison earlier than expected, after applying for a prison-monitored drug rehabilitation program and then being moved into the program, Vick could be released after serving only 12 months instead of the 23 that he was sentenced for.
If he is released in 2009 he would have the opportunity to return to the league after missing only two seasons. According to CNN, Vick’s people continue to hope that the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will decline to add on a lengthy suspension following Michael’s release.
