The look on Carly Smithson’s face says it all, shock just plain shock is what American Idol watchers were feeling when favorite Michael Johns was voted off. Joining Johns in the bottom three was Syesha Mercado and Carly Smithson.
Last nights episode was a reminder of last season’s episode when Chris Daughtry was voted off. Of course he went on to become the biggest selling artist of 2007.
Johns said,
“I am definitely surprised. I enjoyed singing that song.”
Meanwhile Syesha Mercado has been in the bottom three more than two times.
