Lindsay Lohan poses as Marilyn Monroe

The spring fashion issue of New York Magazine features Lindsay Lohan recreating Marilyn Monroe’s legendary 1962 photo taken by Bert Stern. Lohan said when it came to being nude on camera,

“I was comfortable with it.”

Lindsay admits to having done “250 crunches” the night before the shoot. On the similarities between Monroe’s death from overdose and actor Heath Ledger’s death Lohan said,

“They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone.”

She does however say that the same fate doesn’t exist for her,

“I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”
