Heath Ledger’s Uncle Mike does not think it’s a great idea that the actor’s father is the only person handling the fortune he left behind. According to the Uncle, Kim Ledger, Heath’s father, has a bad track record with managing finances and estates, he said,
“Our only vested interest is to assure that Matilda is well looked after. When you are talking about large sums of money like this, it should be an independent executor, but Kim hasn’t chosen that way.”
Robert John Collins, who is the executor of Heath’s will, says the claims made by Mike are rubbish.
