George Michael Arrested in London

British singer George Michael was arrested Friday for allegedly possessing crack cocaine and marijuana, reports the BBC News. Michael, 45, was busted in a bathroom in London’s Hampstead Heath area after an attendant tipped off police.

This is not George Michael’s first arrest for drugs. In 2006 he was found slumped over the wheel of his car in London. Just last year, the singer talked about his drug problems saying that he was aware he smoked too much marijuana and was trying to fight the addiction.

Michael apologized to his fans for his latest arrest in a statement.

“I want to apologize to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I’ll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them.”
