Grey’s Anatomy Eric Dane, AKA Dr. McSteamy, recently noticed a lesion on his lip and decided to check it out with a dermatologist. The actor found out that he had skin cancer.
The malignant tissue was caused by sun exposure. Dane appears on the cover of OK! Magazine, where he shares his story on his medical journey. Dane revealed that a freezing process with the use of liquid nitrogen removed the cancerous tissue.
Rumors began circulating that he sold his story to the magazine for an unspecified amount of money but Dane has denied this, saying no money was exchanged.
