Goran Visnjic, who stars as Dr. Luka Kovac on NBC’s ER has agreed to pay $1800 a month in child support for his daughter he had with a Croatian woman.
Mirela Rupic and Visnjic had a one-night stand, which resulted in her getting pregnant; she sued him claiming he was the father of her 4-month-old child. Visnjic, who has been married for 8 years to Ivana Vrdoljak, said he was not proud of the extramarital affair saying,
“It’s not something that I’m proud of, of course. But I am ready to accept all the consequences of my act.” Goran was also given visitation rights with the child.
