Academy Award nominee Eddie Murphy will reprise his role as detective Axel Foley in the fourth installment of Beverly Hills Cop, reports Variety.
Production is expected to start in 2009. Murphy had previously expressed interest in doing a fourth film after Sylvester Stallone reprised his role as Rocky Balboa.
