Yes, folks, Michael Knight will ride again, at least for a little while that is. David Hasselhoff starred as Michael Knight 25 years ago in the successful TV show Knight Rider and he is all set to make a cameo in the new movie that will star former All My Children star Justin Bruening.
According to executive producer David Bartis, Hasselhoff’s participation was essential.
“The audience wants to see that… He’s such a part of the legacy of the show.”
New star Justin Bruening revealed that he is a fan of the original show and working with Hasselhoff was cool. Bruening pointed out the similarities between their backgrounds saying,
“We both started on soaps and we both left them about the same time.”
