Finally it was Dave Levey who won Hell’s Kitchen 2009. An executive chef 32-year-old Dave Levey took advantage of Ariel’s fatal mistake and won the October 13, 6th season episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” 2009 by beating Kevin, his last obstacle.
An unexpected ending to the 6th season of “Hell’s Kitchen,” a British cookery reality television show, must have left Kevin thinking that how Dave Levey whom Kevin considered kind ‘inferior,’ got ahead of him and made a mark for himself. Dave was among the last three in the race to the win the competition; he was left with Ariel and Kevin who’re known as chief rivals to each other.
Both Kevin and Dave took advantage of a fatal mistake on Ariel’s part; Kevin in the first place and later Dave who knew he was left with only one obstacle to steal the show. Kevin simply turned Ariel’s run into sabotage when he pretended confused to understand and follow her instructions. Resultantly, the lead cook Ariel gave an impression she wasn’t able to run a kitchen, simple.
Ariel was out and Kevin very pleased to eliminate the major threat, started to sharpen his nails as in his opinion, Dave Levey was no match to him what’s evident from his vow throughout the season about a Jupiter sized ego inside him.
It was the time they were instructed to prepare challenge menu of their own for the night. Dave came up with a rustic venison dish that earned him 3 out of 5 essential votes from the judges, quite easily. Mr. EGO was ready to go with an extremely apparent facial expression of a loser. His victory in the final challenge has also brought Dave a job with Araxi as Head Chef.
