All last week we heard that Britney’s new CD Blackout would make its debut at number 1 on the billboard charts but it’s not to be, seems the Eagles trumped Brit, although Spears did manage to move 290,000 units according to early soundscan numbers but it is nothing compared to the 711,000 copies the Eagles managed to sell thanks to none other than Wal-Mart. Britney is now expected to debut at number 2 but she faces stiff competition with new releases from rapper Jay Z and R&B singer Chris Brown.
