Foo Fighters and Beyonce Knowles will attend and perform at the Grammy Awards, it was announced today. Despite the fact that there could be a possible picket line due to the writers strike, Knowles, father, Matthew Knowles, who is also her manager, said that the singer would definitely be there.
Along with Beyonce there will also be the Foo Fighters who said in a statement,
“We’re participating in ‘My Grammy Moment’ because it creates opportunities. Opportunities to write, compose, play and study music — skills that absolutely need to be passed on to generations to come. And thanks to ‘My Grammy Moment,’ a musician from that next generation is going to get the chance to audition on YouTube to play with us at the Grammys as part of our orchestra.”
The Grammys is scheduled for broadcast on February 10th.
