People magazine reportedly paid Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz $1.4 million for their wedding pictures. According to TMZ, People magazine’s deal with the Ashlee and Pete stipulated that there had to be a photo opportunity with Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo.
The reason for this particular deal is that Ashlee and Pete do not have the fan base necessary to generate big sales but pictures of Tony and Jessica would. The magazine released its cover of Ashlee and Pete on May 21, the rest of the wedding photos were available on newsstands on May 23.
