Jessica Simpson’s little sister Ashlee Simpson will try her hands at marriage, she and boyfriend Pete Wentz announced that they are engaged.
Simpson posted the following,
“We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to now, because you guys are the best, yes we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all your support and well wishes-it means the world to us. We consider this to be a private matter, and we wanted to be the first to tell you and to hear it straight from us.”
The two have been dating since 2006. Her father Joe Simpson said he’s,
“Totally happy and so excited to have Pete as part of our family.”
He said the exact same thing about Nick Lachey. By the way Ashlee’s ex Ryan Cabrera, who by the way is cuter than Pete, approves of the couples engagement.
