Shia LaBeouf has more reasons to celebrate this week, his movie Eagle Eye debut at number one with $29.2 million, taking the number two spot is the Richard Gere-Diane Lane romantic movie Nights in Rodante.

Last week’s number one Lakeview Terrace dropped to number 3 with $7 million. Rounding out the top 5 was the Kirk Cameron Christian flick Fire Proof, which earned an impressive $6.5 million, Burn After Reading took in $6.1 million bringing its total to $45.5 million.

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria-Parker continues to deny that she and husband Tony Parker are expecting their first child, but while doing so she continues to wear baggy clothes and has clearly put on some weight.

The Latin beauty says she gained the weight for her television role, but gone are the tight fitting outfits we are used to seeing the star in. Eva maybe pulling a Jennifer Garner, who is clearly pregnant but has never actually come out and confirmed it.

Actress Heather Locklear was arrested in California on Saturday for suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medication, reports the Associated Press. Locklear, who entered an Arizona inpatient facility back in June, was pulled over by California Highway Patrol after a witness reported that she was driving “erratically.”

Heather’s car was spotted parked on a state highway blocking a lane.

“In talking with her, the police officer determined that she seemed to be under the influence of something. Locklear was then taken into custody, tested for alcohol and drugs, booked and released.

23-year-old Scarlett Johansson wed 31-year-old Ryan Reynolds on Saturday at a remote wilderness resort outside Vancouver, the Actress’ rep confirmed. The couple announced their engagement back in May, at the time Johansson said,

“You don’t always meet the right person at the right time. I believe in finding a soul mate. I’ve always been in monogamous relationships. I would never want to be in an open one. It’d be too awful.”

Ryan was once engaged to Canadian Singer Alanis Morissette.

The legendary Paul Newman has died after a long battle with lung cancer. The Oscar winner died at his home in Westport, Connecticut on Friday.

Newman was a giant in the film and food industry with his Newman’s Own charitable brand. The handsome blue-eyed Actor was married to actress Joanne Woodward for 50 years.

The couple had three daughters and a son, who died from an accidental drug overdose in 1978. Newman was nominated for an Academy Award 10 times and won Best Supporting Actor for the movie The Color of Money in 1986, he was also given an honorary statue in 1985.

One would think that Shia LaBeouf would be so happy not to be facing DUI charges that he wouldn’t care about his driver’s license being suspended, but he has put his lawyers to work in order to stop the suspension from happening.

LaBeouf’s lawyer Michael Norris said that he believes he can convince the DMV that when his famous client was asked to submit to the test, he was in no position to respond.

“Asking someone to provide a blood or breath test while they’re being prepared for surgery on a gurney is a very unusual situation,” he added.

The hearing to suspend Shia’s license has since been postponed.

Britney Spears’ new single Womanizer has hit the airwaves. Radio station z100 in New York debut the first single from Britney’s upcoming album Circus, Britney has already shot the video for the song, in which she will be seen wearing a long black wig.

Look for Spears’ album to hit store shelves December 2, which is also the day she celebrates her 27^th birthday.

Adam Goldstein AKA DJ AM has been released from a hospital in Georgia and is said to be on his way back to L.A. His rep released the following statement,

“Adam Goldstein has been released from Doctors Hospital. While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide. We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.”

Meanwhile, producer Jermaine Dupri told People magazine that Travis Barker is doing as well as expected and may be released in two weeks.
