Priscilla Ceballos really wanted her daughter to have tickets to see Miley Cyrus in concert so she made up a story about her husband dying in Iraq in order to win some, which she did.

Ceballos admitted to the contest officials that she had lied about her daughter’s father being blown up by a roadside bomb. Club Libby Lu, the company behind the contest, has not yet made a decision as to whether the 6-year-old girl will get to keep the tickets.

Ceballos said,

“We never said this was a true story, we do essays all the time. My daughter does essays at school all the time. It never did say it had to be true, but [the contest organizer] said, ‘That’s what we expected.’”

Update The tickets were taken away and given to another winner.

Oscar winner Nicole Kidman may be expecting a baby according to the Daily Mail. They are saying that Nicole and her husband Keith Urban broke the news to their families over the Christmas holiday and that Kidman will be taking on less work as she prepares for the birth of her child.

Nicole is the mother to adopted kids Connor and Isabella with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Kidman has always expressed her desire to becoming a mom even telling pal Russell Crowe that she wanted to see herself bare foot and pregnant.

Dreamgirls star Eddie Murphy and his fiancée Tracey Edmonds are set to tie the knot today in Tahiti. According to OK! Magazine, the couple and their families are all on the South Pacific Island for the wedding.

Tracey was previously married to singer/producer Kenneth Babyface Edmonds, with whom she has two sons, while Murphy was wed to ex-model Nicole Murphy, the mother of his five kids.

Eddie also has a daughter with Melanie Brown of the Spice Girls.

Actress Rebecca De Mornay was officially charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. According to authorities, her blood alcohol level at the time of her arrest was above he legal limit of 0.08 percent.

The actress best known for her role in Risky Business was arrested on October 30, 2007 and will be arraigned on Monday December 31, however she does not have to appear in court.

Singer Brandy can let out that sigh of relief now that she has learned she will not be facing any criminal charges stemming from her 2006 car accident that left a woman fatally injured.

A statement released said,

“After conducting a thorough investigation, which included consulting with some of the top accident reconstruction experts in the country, City prosecutors concluded that there was insufficient evidence from which a jury could find Ms. Norwood guilty of such a charge beyond a reasonable doubt.”

The singer’s attorney also released a statement saying,

“We are extremely pleased that after a more thorough and extensive investigation by authorities … Brandy Norwood should not be charged with any crime whatsoever relating to the accident back in 2006.”

After 11 years of marriage Academy Award winner Sean Penn and his actress wife Robin Wright Penn have decided to end their marriage. The couple is parents to Hopper Jack, 14, and Dylan Frances, 16.

No exact details were given on why the two are splitting. Sean was previously married to Madonna.

The Mummy star Brendan Fraser and his wife of 9-years Afton Smith have called it quits. Brendan and his wife met at a barbecue thrown by actress Winona Ryder in 1993 and got married September 1998.

The couple is parents to three children Griffin Arthur, Holden Fletcher, and Leland Francis. Fraser’s publicist released a statement saying,

“They continue to maintain a close and caring friendship.”

It seems Paris Hilton’s grandpa Barron Hilton is a bit peeved at her and the way she has been conducting herself so he decided to teach her a lesson and a big one I might add.

On Wednesday, the elderly Hilton announced that he would be giving 97 percent of his $2.3 billion fortune to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, which means that Paris and the rest of the family will have to make do with about $70 million to about $130 million.

Looks like Paris will have to work for her money.
