Duane Chapman’s show Dog The Bounty Hunter has been suspended because of alleged racist remarks he made against his son Tucker’s girlfriend, Monique Shinnery, who is African American. The National Enquirer released a recording where Chapman could be heard using the N word and demanding that his son ends his relationship or he would be fired. Since the story broke Duane has referred all inquiries to his Pastor Tim Story, who is also African American. Chapman has apologized, saying Story, who married Dog and his wife Beth, said Dog cried for 30 minutes saying, “I’m shocked, I’m wrong I repent. Can you believe, Tim, that I’m going to be put in the same category as Imus?” Pastor Story also said that he had spoken to Dog several times and he apologized saying he wasn’t angry with the girl, it was anger toward his son.

Paul McCartney’s estranged wife Heather Mills told a British TV reporter that she considered suicide because of all the negative attention directed toward her family. “They’ve called me a whore, a gold-digger the former Dancing With the Stars contestant said, “I’ve had worse press than a pedophile or murderer and I’ve done nothing but charity for 20 years!” She said that killing herself had crossed her mind and about her daughter “If I’m dead, then she’s safe and she can be with her father.”

Assault charges in Canada against Skating With Celebrities winner Kristy Swanson have been dropped. Swanson, who played Anna Nicole Smith in an episode of Law & Order, was arrested in June after an alleged altercation between Kristy and her boyfriend Lloyd Eisler’s ex-wife Marcia O’Brien. Eisler partnered with Swanson in the Skating competition and left his pregnant wife for the actress.

Lane Garrison was sentenced to 40 months in state prison and must pay restitution to the family of Vahagn Setian who was killed in a DUI accident last December. Garrison faced a maximum term of six years and eight months in prison and will probably go to a state prison facility with a drug and alcohol program said the district attorney. Lane addressed the court before the hearing saying “I think of you guys [the victim’s family] every night. I felt what it’s like to be in prison. I want to show that my walk with sobriety will be very easy. I want to help other kids not make the same mistake I did. I just want to say how sorry I am to the Setian family. I am sickened by my behavior on that night. My thoughts keep coming back to that night.”

Added to the list is now Jennifer Lopez’ designer Roberto Cavalli, who says Jennifer requested something special because she is waiting for the baby. “It is so complicated because every week she is getting bigger,” added the designer, speaking from his celebration promoting Roberto Cavalli Vodka at his New York showroom. “The thing about Jennifer Lopez, she is a singer, she is a dancer, most of the time when I prepare something for the tour, the performer, they want something very soft so they can dance and so they can move free.” Said Cavalli. Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony have never confirmed or denied her pregnancy.

Tony award winner Robert Goulet passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at the age of 73. The singer/actor was awaiting a lung transplant, after he was diagnosed with interstitial pulmonary fibrosis. Goulet is survived by his wife Vera and three children from his previous two marriages. Vera said that the singer was in a good mood “Just watch my vocal cords,” she said he told doctors before they inserted a breathing tube. Goulet won a Tony award in 1968 for best actor in a musical for his role in The Happy Time; he also won a Grammy in 1962.

Production on the TV show House was temporarily shut down when star Hugh Laurie abruptly left and flew home to England, but the actor has returned and explained that he is battling a “mild depression” and continues to see a therapist periodically. Laurie’s family lives back in his native country and he says he misses his family but that he is also drained from the shows overnight success and 14 hour, five days a week demands. “I’m always thinking about the show,” he said. “I’m too neurotic and too anal and too convinced that we’re going to fail to relax. Every show we do, every scene we shoot, is a disaster, I’m convinced of it.” Laurie recently became of the highest paid actors on TV earning more than $300,000 an episode.

Ex-Prison Break star Lane Garrison will be in court tomorrow for sentencing in the DUI accident that killed a Vahagn Setian, a 17-year-old passenger in his car. A spokesperson for the Setian family as well as his friends were outside a Beverly Hills court today to present the judge with 3,600 signatures demanding the actor be sentenced to serve six years and eight months for vehicular manslaughter, DUI and providing alcohol to a minor.

The ruling is in and Britney Spears has not regained custody of her two boys, instead the pop princess will get three visits per week, two from 12pm to 7:00 pm and only one overnight visit and all visits will be monitored. Britney and Kevin must figure out their own holiday schedules with the kids. Spears must give evidence that she has child proofed her pool area by Friday November 2^nd. The parenting coach assigned to Britney said “during all three of my visits, Ms. Spears rarely engaged with the children in either conversation or play.”

Talk show host Oprah Winfrey asked the parents of her South African school for forgiveness after allegations of abuse was reported. “I’ve disappointed you. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry,” the talk-show queen told families in an emergency meeting at the South African school in Henley-on-Klip, south of Johannesburg. Winfrey has flown to South Africa twice in the past few weeks since the allegations became public. On opening day Oprah said it was the proudest, greatest day of her life and a dream come true.
