Despite some negative press for the Batman Actor himself, Christian Bale, the movie The Dark Knight continues to dominate the box office receipts. Knight pulled in $75.6 million beating all competition bringing its domestic total to $314.2million.
Landing at number two was Step Brothers with 30.0 million, number three goes to Mamma Mia, which still managed an impressive $17.8 million.
The X-Files: I Want to Believe was a dud with only $10.2 million.
